TEAM SANTA ROSA HONORS LOCAL INDUSTRY

On September 24, TEAM Santa Rosa, Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Workforce Escarosa held the 2009 Industry Appreciation Luncheon as a joint event for Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties.  The festivities took place at Scenic Hills Country Club in Pensacola where sixteen companies were recognized for excellence in their field and economic value to the dual county area.

TEAM Santa Rosa is partnering with the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce to help rally support for bringing Southwest Airlines to Pensacola Gulf Coast Regional Airport.  The local chambers from Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties were mobilized in this endeavor to attract this world class company to our area.  If Southwest comes to Pensacola, it will provide new jobs and a significant yearly economic impact.
